This site was created to literally serve as a virtual meeting place for anyone interested in helping us organize a 25-year reunion. At this point, there is no one person in charge. We are just trying to reach out to as many classmates as possible to see if we can pull this thing off. We’ve had a few events in the past year – two picnics, two dinners and a night out at Clicks – that we’ve used as an opportunity to have everyone reacquaint and feel at ease with one another. These gatherings have been so much fun and have given us the opportunity to see friends from years past (do you like how I avoided saying old friends?).
If you are interested in helping, or just want to make sure you are invited to future gatherings including the reunion, please send us an email with your contact information. Evelyn has done a great job of compiling a list of everyone’s information and we assure you we’ll keep it confidential unless you want it made public.
We would also like to invite as many of you to contribute (post) to this site. I figure we can post about past/upcoming events, fund-raisers and just about anything that has to do with anyone from the class of 1985 (let’s be nice though and let’s keep it family-friendly!). Just send us your email address and we will add you as one of our contributors. Don’t worry, this site is quite user-friendly and no one is grading you on grammar or sentence structure – I promise!
No need to knock, just pull up a chair, join us around this virtual table and like at any typical business meeting, we'll tend to important matters first such as catching up with one another, then we'll get down to the business of sharing ideas enabling us to organize a memorable reunion.

ReplyDeleteSame here, I keep hearing about blogs and I start to think about the blob - get it, the horror movie from the 50's that is more like a comedy...oh well, it is good to reconnect with "old friends." Hopefully good things will come from this mutual endeavor? You all be safe and stay cool.
